The Pick of the Litter – 7 September 2021

CHESS
DAHLIA

If you missed today’s PICK OF THE LITTER from The SPCA of Upstate NY, here’s the information on this week’s featured furry friends who are looking for furr-ever homes:

Chess (DOG):This happy little man is everything you’re looking for in an adult dog. He’s always got a smile on his face, and he’s always looking for a good pet! Chess isn’t that big either, only 28-30 pounds, so a perfect size for many. Chess is a small hound mix, but a very handsome one. He will sit for you and if you talk to him and get him excited he will tilt his head to one side to let you know that he’s all ears! Show Chess a leash and he is more than happy to go for a walk with you. Whenever you are having a bad day, Chess will be the one to turn it around with his infectious excitement. And at just 3 years old, this little guy is still full of energy and love to run and play! He loves everyone he meets and loves to play with the other dogs. Chess is for sure a WINNER! He has been neutered, and is current on all of his routine vaccinations.
Dahlia (DOG):If you are looking for a bigger pup, one you can take hiking or just toss a ball in the back yard, then little Dahlia is the perfect pup. She is about 5 months old, full of life and spunk. She walks great on a leash, she loves everyone, and she loves to play with other pups. Dahlia is a hound mix, with long floppy ears, and a rolly-poly body with the best personality. This adorable pup will brighten your mornings and be there when you come home from work in the evening to put a smile on your face. And she’s the perfect size to curl up on the couch for a late night movie. Dahlia has been spayed and is current on all of her routine vaccinations.
